These past few weeks have been nothing short of amazing (exhausting:). All too often we look at our days and think to ourselves we don't have enough hours in the day. When really we need to focus on is how we spend those hours.
Here's what I find true;
There is always enough time for extra morning cuddles with the kids, or stopping to take in the beauty of the evening sky.
Lending a helping hand to someone and encouraging them.
There's plenty of time for remembering all the small blessings. Good coffee, the smile of a friend, even the lessons our challenges have taught us.
Time to tell someone you love them, brighten the cashiers day, be a gracious driver.
Time for chasing new ideas and dreams and creating what inspires us.
There's time to teach, and lots of time to learn.
There's always time for doing good, but it will always fall on our shoulders to make the time for what we truly want. At the end of the day, we have to decide how we spend our days.
And you know what? I'd be lying if I told you that I don't hit the bed at the end of the day feeling exhausted from everything BUT, I also get to fall asleep with a smile on my face and eager for the next sunrise to do it all over again.
Take the time, to make time, for the things that matter most.
