This year we had Thanksgiving at my husbands parents new house outside Coeur D'Alene. We don't all get together at the same time, so I thought this would be a great opportunity for family photos.
They already have snow out there, so there was a winter wonderland feel. They have evergreens surrounding their house, making a great backdrop.
My mother in law Penny is a master cook, and always goes over the top for our family gatherings. This year was definitely not the traditional Thanksgiving faire. We had muscles and pasta, elk steak, chicken and mushrooms, and an array of desserts. The table was decked expertly, it was beautiful.
We have a lot of hunters in the family, so naturally the past time was archery practice.
North Idaho winters mean the light disappears fast, so I dragged everyone away for some group shots.
